Device Companion.
A little something for your event day. The reveal is part of the experience.
Know before you install
- Shows occasional surprise on-screen animations over your other windows, with sound effects enabled by default.
- The overlay is click-through: your mouse and keyboard stay with the app you are using.
- Waits 15 minutes after installation before the first animation, then uses 15-30 second pauses.
- Automatically uninstalls at local 4:00 pm, using the first 4:00 pm after cooldown. If today is too late, removal is the following day.
- A cleanup-only job remains active when you quit, catches up after wake/sign-in if needed, and removes its own registration.
- Does not install device patches, restart the animations at login, record your screen, or capture keystrokes.
- Downloads the event images once. No account, camera, or microphone is needed; Windows requires permission for a limited per-user cleanup task.
The installer asks you to type YES before changing files. It does not install anything if you decline.
